Summary |
Series Two finds James in an optimistic mood, despite having lost a ship on the Cape. The American Civil War has ended, bringing new opportunities for shipping trade, however his unending harshness to his men forces Anne to choose between her loyalty to her husband, and the striking seamen's families, whom she supports. Plotting to outwit the strikers, James gives Anne an ultimatum that forces her to leave…but can she survive as a woman alone ? This release includes all 14 episodes from the second series of this much-loved production. |
