"In the city of the future, the past can still destroy you" -- Cover.
Summary
In a near-future city built on faith and lies, two outcasts attempt a daring high-tech heist. After a century of natural disasters and global conflict, the city state of Jerusalem endures as a haven for exiles, extremists, smugglers and spies. Clementine, a European refugee with uncanny technological abilities, and Levi, an ambitious young criminal, are employed by one of the city's most prominent politicians for a high-tech heist. But none of the conspirators is what they seem. And their target - an artefact in the city's great museum - is stranger, more ancient, and more dangerous than any of them could have imagined.
