| Summary |
A comical look at Burke and Wills' ill-fated expedition across Australia, released just one week before "Burke and Wills", a more serious and accurate telling of the Burke and Wills story. Burke; a former police officer and stalker of the beautiful stage actress Julia Matthews and Wills, a well-to do Englishman are chose to lead the expedition despite having no experience. The crew of men diminishes quickly as the power-hungry and naive Burke fire them one-by-one. Rumours of the doomed expedition spread to Melbourne where Julia's theatre company starts production on the Wills and Burke musical. |
