| Summary |
Career-driven, single mother Mandy is a modern woman in a crisis. She's raising a son in the midst of the female revolution, dealing with the pain of her parents separation and writing about the kind of love that she thinks no longer exists. Then she meets Pete, who is searching for his own sense of worth, belonging and a restored male identity. Is true love as rare as they both think it is? Or are they meant to be together? A unique, anti-romantic comedy, Rare Beasts is slightly unhinged but very funny. It is also a fascinatingly personal comment on the price of modern feminism by one of the UKs most famous women. |
