Expecting her husband home with an important foreign politician, the only thing to do is hide the body and persuade her three house guests to become accessories and accomplices. To complicate matters, Clarissa starts her search for the motive and murderer, she must convince a police inspector who has shown up, that there is no murder at all.
Agatha Christie's pale horse : A mysterious list of names is found in the shoe of a dead woman. Antiques dealer Mark Easterbrook (Rufus Sewell, Victoria) is determined to find out why his name is on the list. His investigations lead him to three spinsters living at The Pale Horse in the village of Much Deeping. As more deaths occur, Mark finds himself thinking the unthinkable. Could this all be the work of witchcraft, and is he himself cursed? Paranoia eats at Mark. Who wants him dead, and how can he save himself from the curse?
Agatha and the curse of Ishtar : In 1928, Agatha Christie (Lyndsey Marshall, The Hours) is celebrated for her detective novels but longing for love and keen to branch out into romantic fiction. She travels to Iraq in search of romance and joins her friends on an historical dig where an ancient stone tablet has been unearthed by renowned archaeologist, Max Mallowan. Agatha helps Max to investigate the mysterious death of his colleague and soon, the whole group is in danger from unknown forces. With the desert closing in, and far from home, Agatha needs all her intelligence and skill to solve the case and avoid 'the Curse of Ishtar'.
Agatha and the truth of murder : In 1926, with her personal life in tatters and her writing in crisis, a young Agatha Christie (Ruth Bradley, In Her Skin), becomes involved in a notorious unsolved murder. When the goddaughter and namesake of Florence Nightingale is found on a train to Hastings with her skull caved in, the subsequent investigation and public outcry fail to catch the killer. Driven to distraction by the absence of justice, Florence's partner of twenty-six years turns to Agatha in hope she can succeed where the police failed. But by pursuing a plan based on everything she's learnt through her work, Agatha discovers that Florence's killer is far more cunning and dangerous than any of her fictional creations.
