| Summary |
The Avengers have fought against some of the most powerful and dangerous super-- villains in the world. But just when the team thought they had things under control, new threats emerge ... from space! Caught in the crossfire between two warring alien empires - Earth's mightiest heroes must make a stand. The fate of our world depends on it! The Avengers are torn apart when Nick Fury reveals the shape-shifting alien Skrulls have infiltrated Earth! Thor encounters the strange creature Beta Ray Bill and must ally himself with the warrior in order to save Asgard from the demon Surtur. S.H.I.E.L.D. is attacked by the Hulk, but something's wrong, He's RED! After being held prisoner for months by the Skrulls, Captain American must team up with his enemies to warn the AVENGERS. When the Skrull invasion hits Earth the Avengers reunite in a battle which will decide the future of humanity... |
